Rooibos, or Red Bush is native to the mountains of Southern Africa. Its real draw card is its inherent remedial and healing properties. It is naturally caffeine free, contains no calories and has a high mineral content. It is believed to contain up to fifty times the anti-oxidant properties of green tea. This is a top quality Rooibos from a small, privately owned plantation.
 
The fine, needle-like leaves are chopped and dried in the traditional style to give the fullest flavour. The infusion is a deep red with a refreshing, full-bodied flavour and sweet finish.

To brew: Bring freshly drawn cold water to a rolling boil. Place 1 teaspoon of tea for each cup into the teapot. Pour in the boiling water, cover and let steep for 4-6 minutes according to taste (the longer the steeping time the stronger the tea).
